Dovecot Studios Wedding in Edinburgh.
Dovecot Studios is one of my all time favourite wedding venues. It’s a beautiful old converted swimming baths which is now used as a tapestry studio and art gallery space.
Not only is the building amazing, the staff are also fantastic to work with. The work really hard to make sure that everyone is well looked after. When Matthew and Sunayna said that Dovecot had recommended me as a photographer to them I was delighted.
You might remember their pre wedding shoot at Arthur’s Seat. If you want to check it out head over here – Matthew & Sunayna Pre Wedding Shoot.
For your wedding inspiration these are the brilliant suppliers on Matthew and Sunayna’s wedding day. Sunayna wore a stunning detailed , lace, Maggie Sottero dress from Emma Roy of Edinburgh. The bridesmaids wore amazing emerald sequinned dresses from House of Fraser. The beautiful flowers were by Briar Rose Design. Make up was by my friend and highly favoured make up artist Cat Robertson. Hair was by Alan Caldow at Caldow Salon. Matt’s suit was tailor made for him by Beggar’s Run in Shoreditch. The ceremony was conducted by the very friendly Candice Dillen. Table decorations were created from the weaving floor yarns and flowers from Mill Pond Flower Farm. The stationary was designed by Skinny Malink and the venue signage was by artist Lucy Fyffe. The dance floor was kept full by Sporran Again and during the drinks reception jazz band the Frazer Mitchell Trio kept everyone entertained.
This is a preview of what their wedding day looked like.
Hi Lindsey, what can I say?? What a wonderful glimpse into what turned out to be a perfect day – well done, and thank you – all the best, Swati
