Architecture meets Art

The Architecture Meets Art event is an exciting collaboration between Design Pop Up and Collective Architecture in Glasgow. This unique event brings together artists, architects, and art lovers to raise vital funds for Scotland’s architectural heritage.

Each year, a historic building is chosen through a public vote, and the goal is to raise money to support its restoration and preservation. Artists and architects are invited to donate a piece of artwork inspired by the building or the theme of architectural preservation. These works are then auctioned off, with the proceeds going to the selected heritage project.

I’ve had the privilege of contributing pieces to this incredible event, and for the 2025 event, I created a print inspired by the iconic Beresford Building. You can read more about my creative process and how I photographed and edited this historic structure HERE.

Cosentino Installation Event

Showcasing Innovation in Stone Design

I had the privilege of photographing Cosentino’s Box Hub Installation Event in Glasgow, where they showcased their Dekton Pietra Edition and Silestone Le Chic Bohème collections. Aimed at designers, contractors, and architects, the event gave industry professionals a hands-on experience with Cosentino’s stunning stone surfaces.

Cosentino wanted to bring their high-quality products directly to Glasgow’s design community, complementing their Livingston showroom. My brief was to document the installation of the stone panels, which were styled by talented local designers Form and Balance and Noya Design Studio. After styling each room with furnishings and accessories, I photographed the setups to create content for Cosentino’s website and social media.

The evening also included a networking session, where professionals could explore the products and interact with Cosentino’s team. Homes and Interiors Scotland was on hand to interview the designers, providing valuable behind-the-scenes content for Cosentino.

The event was a great success, combining product showcases, networking, and engaging moments to promote Cosentino’s innovative stone surfaces. These images will help Cosentino strengthen their online presence and build connections within the construction and design industries.

High School of Glasgow Charity Fundraiser

I love a good charity fundraiser – they’re filled with fun, great people, and a sense of purpose. I had the privilege of photographing the High School of Glasgow’s fundraising brunch, which was raising money and awareness for the incredible Let’s Talk FAB charity. This charity, founded by Laura Porter from FAB skincare, supports women facing infertility and baby loss, providing them with much-needed support and resources.

The event took place at the Skybar in the Radisson Red, where guests were dressed to impress in their glittering sequins. The entertainment was a lively Boozy Brunch Bingo session, expertly hosted by the dynamic duo Stevie Lennon and Elliot Boyce. This kept everyone laughing and engaged throughout the event.

It was a morning of community, compassion, and fun all in support of a cause that’s making a real difference for women facing difficult challenges. A big thank you to the High School of Glasgow’s fundraising committee for making it all happen!

I was invited by the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office to photograph their Diwali & Bands Choor Divas celebrations in Glasgow. It was hosted at The Exchange Glasgow on Royal Exchange Square. The evening was a celebration of the strong ties between Scottish and Indian businesses and the individuals who have fostered meaningful connections between the two nations.

Attending the event were Catherine West, Parliamentary Under-Secretary at FCDO, and Shri Siddharth Malik, the Indian Consul General. They were there to meet local business owners and celebrate the enduring partnership between Scotland and India. Together, they lit the Diwali candles, symbolising the collaboration and unity between the two countries.

My role for the evening was to capture the joyful atmosphere and document the event through candid shots, as well as organise any group photographs that featured the ministers alongside the Scottish and Indian business owners in attendance.
