Outdoor Scottish garden wedding.

During this time at home I have been reminding myself of all of the incredible weddings that I have been lucky enough to photograph over. There are so many that I never had time to share on my blog once wedding season started I promised myself that I would use this time to share more creative ways that my amazing couple’s have celebrated.

Today is Jen & Geoff’s 4th wedding anniversary so I thought this was the perfect day to share this stunning Scottish garden wedding.

Jen asked me to photograph her wedding at her parent’s house on the banks of the River Tay in Perthshire. They hired a marquee for the reception but they wanted to have the ceremony outdoors in the garden. Spring in Scotland can often be unpredictable and this day was no different. Determined to stick to their plan for the beautiful garden Jen and Geoff managed to dodge the hail showers before and after their ceremony before having a wonderful party with their family and friends.

Jen wore a beautiful blush evening dress from The Case of the Curious Bride in Manchester. The bridesmaid dresses were from Coast. Her amazing make up artist was Anna Mack, she created looks that really do last all day.

Jen’s sister Emma, and her bridesmaid, is a good friend of mine. If you follow me on social media you’ll see that I have worked for Emma photographing her architecture company’s completed projects. Head over to her website for some serious house design inspiration! Bespoke Glasgow
