An Outdoor Secret Herb Garden Wedding.
My summer of weddings this year has been even better than I could have imagined. First up as a preview wedding is the amazing Alison & Tim’s wedding at the Secret Herb Garden.
The brilliant suppliers I had the chance to work with are –
Hair – Hair By Gillian White
Make Up – Make Up By Bekki
Dress – Gwenne Wedding Services
Flowers – Save the Date Collective
Balloons – The Big Wedding Balloons
Videographer – Worldly Nomads
Caterers – Bespoke Catering I can personally recommend them – thank you for feeding me so well!
Entertainers – Erskine String Trio
Evening Food – The Pizza Geeks again I can personally recommend these guys. The pizzas are AMAZING!
The other amazing wedding I’ve shot with Barry from Worldly Nomads was Emma & Mark at Monachyle Mhor.
Arthur’s Seat Sunset Engagement Shoot.
Have you ever considered having your engagement shoot at sunset? Now that we have the longer evenings it is a great time to make the most of the beautiful golden light.
Relaxed Lothian Chambers wedding in Edinburgh
We are lucky in Scotland that weddings can be anywhere. I often get asked if I’ve already shot a venue before and very rarely the answer is yes. Most wedding days I visit somewhere new, where a couple have their own combination of venues or locations.
Carlowrie Castle Wedding on a beautiful October day.
Marion and Mark married at St Mary’s Cathedral in the centre of Edinburgh. The weather was amazing. It was really warm for October, so we were able to gather outside the church before traveling out to Carlowrie Castle for their reception.
This is very special family wedding, Marion is my husband’s cousin. I was extremely flattered when she spoke to me about her wedding plans and asked me to photograph her wedding.
The highlights of my 2016.
It has been a while since I’ve found time to blog; so what better way to get back into it than with a look back at the best of my 2016.
I’d like to thank all of the couples who had me along to shoot their weddings, I can honestly say I have loved every minute of it. I’ve been able to visit lots of new venues and revisit some of my favourites.
